Prerequisites
To configure the Power BI file to receive your data, you will need an API key (AESA access credentials). If you don't have an API key, or if you'd like to create new credentials specific to the Power BI report, this wiki article explains the steps to follow.
Only administrators of an environment can create an API key.
Procedure
-
In the main Power BI menu, Home section, click Transform data to access the Power Query Editor page.
-
On the left you will find the list of queries. You will need to save the following information:
-
ENVIRONMENT_URLwith your environment's URL in the format:https://<<your_domain>>.aidi.io/. It is important to keep the/at the end of the URL to ensure the requests work properly. -
API_IDwith your AESA key's identifier -
API_SECRETwith your AESA key's password (Secret)
-
-
After modifying this data, save the file (Ctrl+S) and click Apply. This will start the data update.
-
For subsequent data updates, go to the main menu, Home section, and click Refresh to start the data update.
The data update process may take a few minutes, depending on the volume of data in your environment.
