In Aidi, most pages feature a Custom fields section, which can contain custom fields to suit your needs. These additional fields can be added internally by your Aidi administrator.
The custom fields configuration also allows you to control the field type to ensure data consistency.
Available field types:
- numeric field integer or decimal
- checkbox
- date
- short text
- paragraph
- predefined multiple-selection or single-selection list
Custom fields can be added from the Admin/Custom Fields Menu screen.
The creation procedure is very simple:
- Use the Create button at the top of the screen
- Name the field
- Determine in which screen it should appear
- Choose the type (see list of types above)
- You can change the order in which the drop-down lists appear, if required.
- Save your settings.
Custom fields appear automatically when you enter the associated screen, in the Custom fields section.
In the Custom fields management page, you can change the display order of the various fields by entity, by holding down on the dots at the beginning of the line and moving the line to the desired position.
Custom fields added to the project file can be displayed in a column of the project list. To do this, use the view customization function at the top of the project list. You can also filter the project list using these fields.
