The portfolio lets you group projects to analyze, compare and record different scenarios, and assess the impact on capacity, risks and benefits.
A portfolio can contain either programs or projects. In the case of programs, all projects in the program are associated with the portfolio. A project or program can be linked with more than one portfolio.
Note that this feature is available to customers subscribing to the Aidi platform's Enterprise plans.

- Click on create to save your selection and exit creation mode, or go to the Targets tab.
Advanced Search to Find Projects
Your Aidi environment may contain a large number of projects and programs, which can make it difficult to find projects in this list.
To help you with the search, we've added an Advanced search section to the Projects tab of the portfolio.
This section lets you search for projects by keyword, status and administrative unit..
✏️Note: Programs must be selected in the simplified search section only.
When a filter is selected, the project list on the right displays the projects corresponding to the selected criteria among the projects to which the user has access, whether by project contact or default visibility deriving from the administrative unit. You can select more than one filter to refine your search.
Click Select All to include all filtered projects in the portfolio, or select the desired projects individually and click Back to simple search to return to the list of portfolio projects.
Setting Targets
The portfolio management function lets you set financing, budget, risk and effort targets for each of your portfolios. Targets are not mandatory, but they will enable you to analyze different scenarios and compare them with the targets.
- Select the Targets tab.
- Enter the financing amount or annual budget target for all projects/programs included in this portfolio, as well as the total projected budget.
- If you are using the Risk Management module, you can set a target for the amount of risk inherent in the portfolio's projects and programs.
- Enter the total number of hours of effort planned for all projects and programs in the portfolio.
- You can also create an annual hours target by project contact function. The function refers to the function column in the project contacts list.
- Click on the ➕ button to add as many functions as required.
- Save.
List of Portfolios
In the list of portfolios, you can see, among other things, the owner and the date the portfolio was created.
To find out all the details about a portfolio, click on the desired portfolio and the details tab will open. Click on the project tab to view the projects and programs included in the portfolio and on the Targets tab to view or modify information.
A search bar allows you to look for a portfolio in the list.
To modify an existing portfolio, you can also click on the 3 dots menu and click on Modify.
You can also delete a portfolio from the same menu.
Add a Project to an Existing Portfolio
At any time, you can add a project to a portfolio from within the portfolio, in the same way as when creating the portfolio. You can also add a project to the portfolio from the project details page.
In the Project details page, you can see whether the project is associated with a portfolio, and you can also attach the project to one or more portfolios.
Create Filters by Portfolio
Some pages in Aidi allow you to create filters (project list, scheduler, analytics, risk). It is possible to choose one or more portfolios as filter criteria and thus obtain the list of projects in a portfolio on the page where you select the filter.
The portfolios displayed in the list are those to which you have access.
