The portfolio lets you group projects according to various criteria of your choice.
A portfolio can contain either programs or projects. In the case of programs, all projects in the program are associated with the portfolio. A project or program can be linked with more than one portfolio.
Note that this feature is available to customers subscribing to the Aidi platform's Enterprise plans.

The Portfolio Management page can be accessed from the Initialize menu.
Create a New Portfolio
- Click on the Create a Portfolio button.
- In the Details tab, enter the portfolio title.
- Create a unique code. You can leave the field blank, and a code will be generated automatically by Aidi. The generated code begins with: PORT- followed by an incremental number.
- Identify a person responsible for this portfolio. (Optional) Start typing the name in the cell to see the choices. The list shows only those with access to the portfolio functionality.
- You can then select a main administrative unit to manage who will be able to view this portfolio. If an administrative unit is selected, only users associated with this administrative unit and administrators will have access to this portfolio according to the principles of default visibility. (optional)
⚠️Attention! If the user has access to the portfolio because he is part of the main administrative unit (or one of its parent administrative units), he will be able to consult, in the portfolio details page, the list of all-related projects and programs, even if he does not have access to some of these projects or programs.
Please note that administrative units are only available to customers subscribing to the Advanced or Enterprise plans on the Aidi platform.
- Add a description of the portfolio. (optional)
- Strategic objectives: upcoming feature where you will be able to document your strategic objectives in relation to this portfolio.
- You can attach any relevant documents.
- Click on the Projects tab.
- Search for projects or programs to include in the portfolio. Start typing the project name to see the choices and refine your search. Programs are identified with the Program label.
- Once selected, projects, including reference or code, and programs are displayed below the search bar.
- Click on Save.
List of Portfolios
In the list of portfolios, you can see, among other things, the owner and the date the portfolio was created. To find out all the details about a portfolio, click on the desired portfolio and the details tab will open. Click on the project tab to view the projects and programs included in the portfolio.
A search bar allows you to look for a portfolio in the list.
Add a Project to an Existing Portfolio
In the Project details page, you can see whether the project is associated with a portfolio, and you can also attach the project to one or more portfolios.
Create Filters by Portfolio
Some pages in Aidi allow you to create filters (project list, scheduler, analytics, risk). It is possible to choose one or more portfolios as filter criteria and thus obtain the list of projects in a portfolio on the page where you select the filter.
The portfolios displayed in the list are those to which you have access.
