A benefit is a gain or improvement realized by the organization, arising from the results or deliverables of a project, and which contributes to the achievement of one or more of the organization's strategic objectives.
The Benefits Realization Management section can be found in the project details. Access the project from the Initialize page and double-click on the project line.
- Access the project Details page.
- In the Benefits Realization Management section, click on Search Benefits to see the possible choices, or start typing the name of the benefit in the search bar.
- Click on Add to associate the selected benefits with the project. You can add as many benefits as you like to a project.
- Once a benefit has been added, you can rate it out of 5 and add any comments you wish. The default value is 5.
