✏️Note : Risk management is only available for Advanced and Enterprise plans on the Aidi platform.
The Risk register and monitoring report generates an Excel file listing the risks associated with one or more projects, as well as a few tables displaying various metrics to facilitate risk tracking.
You can display this report in English or French by clicking on the radio button corresponding to the desired language.
How to Read This Report
Here is an explanation of each of the tables presented in this report.
Number of risks
The table below displays the number of risks according to their probability and their impact.
These elements are determined by the qualitative risk evaluation with the impact used in the table representing the highest score between impact on schedule and impact on costs.
For example, the table shows only 1 risk for which the probability is very low but if this risk is confirmed, the impact in terms of time or cost will be high.
Amount by risk status
The table Amount by risk status displays the total cost (real or estimated) of the risks for the project(s) selected in the report by status: evaluation, followed, occurred or canceled.
✏️Note: The opportunity costs are subtracted from threat costs. In the example below, there is $25,000 in threat costs and $5,000 in opportunity costs in the Followed status, so the column displays $20,000.
Distribution of risks by phase and status
This table displays the project phases that will be impacted by the risks, which are classified according to their status. Note that if the phase has not been entered in the risk page, the risk will not be represented in this table.
Total balance of probable amounts
Estimated costs represent the total amount of estimated costs associated with the project risks selected in the report. Canceled risks are not considered in this table.
Associated costs are displayed when a purchase order, a change order or other contractual change is associated with the risk in the Associated costs section. *This feature is not yet available in the report.
The section associated costs/estimated costs shows the percentage of associated costs compared to estimated costs. *This feature is not yet available in the report.
Distribution of risks by category and status
This table shows risk categories, which are classified according to their status. Note that risk categories are defined by the administrator.
List of the risks
Below the tables described above, you’ll find a list of all risks associated with the projects selected in the report.
Three filters allow you to select the risks displayed in the list:
- By default, all elements are selected (in blue). Click on an item to select only this one.
- To select more than one item from the same filter, click on the multiple selection button.
- You can delete a filter by clicking on the red X.
- When certain elements of a filter are unavailable due to the selection in another filter, they turn grayed out.
- Use the bar on the right to scroll through the list.
The list of risks provides a wealth of information. To see descriptions, consequences of the risks if they occur, preventative measures, possible actions and follow-up notes, click on the Detailed table button to the right of the Distribution of risk by category and status table.
Click on the Summary table button to return to the initial table.
