This report allows you to compare bids from multiple contractors/suppliers on the same project. Once bids have been entered in Aidi — either through the Bid Form or manually — you can run this report to obtain a comparative analysis of the received bids.
This report can only be generated for one project at a time.
How to Use This Report
Generating the Report

When the report opens, the project, component, and budget selection will update automatically.
- For a project with multiple components, you will need to manually select the component and budget.
- You can select a previous budget version to compare against earlier budgeted amounts.

Click the Bid Selection button to open the menu and select which bids to compare.

Once your selection is complete, click OK to generate the report.
Report Parameters
- You can define the contingency applied to amounts either:
- As a percentage of the total budget/bid amount
- As a fixed total amount
- Show or hide the contingency rows in the report. Shown by default.
- Show/hide the percentage columns. For more information on the values in this column, see note 4 under the Bid Details Tab section.
- Show/hide budget lines that are not associated with any bids.
- Display amounts after taxes based on the tax group defined in your environment.
How to Read This Report
Proposal details Tab
- The first column displays the budgeted amounts based on the selected budget.
- The subsequent columns depend on the bid selection. Bids are displayed in order of their total amount.
- The last column displays the average bid price.
- The percentage column shows the difference between the budgeted price and the submitted bid price.
Summary Tab
The Summary tab compares the difference between the lowest bid amount and the following:
- The second lowest bid
- The highest bid
- The average of all bids
- The total budget
It also provides a graphical representation of the totals for these amounts.
