Thisproduct update’s main goal  is to help you improve performance. 

We've increased the maximum number of characters allowed in budget descriptions and added a character counter in some places to help guide you while entering descriptions and titles.

We've also made the contractual change reference number unique per purchase order, and added another element for your custom views.

Add More Detailed Budget Item Descriptions

We've increased the maximum number of characters for budget item descriptions from 250 to 400. Don't even worry about counting characters; we’ve do it for you! We've added a counter that lets you know how many characters you've reached. We've also added the same type of counter for the Project reference field in the project creation mode.

Code for Contractual Changes Unique by Purchase Order

When creating a contractual change, a reference code is automatically created by Aidi. This code is now unique per purchase order, instead of being unique per project as was the case previously. This is also valid if you enter your own reference code, which must now be unique per purchase order. This allows you to use the same reference code for the various purchase orders.

Even more ways to customize your project lists

In the latest product updates, including this one, we're working on customizating your project lists and dashboards even more user-friendly.

Most recently, we've modified the calculation of the amount payable and renamed elements for greater consistency between the different pages in Aidi. This time, we've added schedule progress as an available column. This column displays the percentage of completion as indicated in the project schedule.

• The reference number automatically created by Aidi when a contractual change is made is now unique for each purchase order. 

Custom View

• A new "Advancement scheduler %" column is available to customize the view of project list and dashboard columns.

Improvements and Fixes

Budget

• Increased the character limit to 400 for the Budget item description field, and added a counter for the number of characters still available.
• You can now create a budget from a template containing only parent budget items.

Declaration

• Added a red border to the supplier field if the entry is invalid when the declaration is created.
• Added permission to modify supplier following creation of declaration. 

Financing

• Deleted financing is no longer displayed in the list

Portfolio Management

• Correction to prevent the same item from being selected more than once when creating a portfolio.
• The option to delete values in the Responsible and Main administrative unit fields are no longer visible when the field has no selection.

Project 

• Project components: When funding is associated with a component, it is no longer possible to delete the component.
• Project creation: we’ve added a character counter in the Project Reference field of the creation template.

Scheduler/Tasks 

• Corrected the display of calendars on the task Planning tab, allowing the calendar to open on the date entered in the field instead of the current date.

Suppliers

• Added permission for users with read-only rights to view supplier contact details.

Security

• Scheduler: Enhanced SocketIO security.
