Please note that the Proposal feature is only available to customers subscribing to the Advanced or Enterprise plans of the Aidi platform.
To import your first bid form, you'll need to do some preparation first:
- Have a structured budget (this will give structure to your bid form)
- Run the Bid form report, then send it to your supplier.
Once you've received the completed report from your supplier, you can import it into Aidi.
Create your Proposal
Access proposals from the Planning menu, then click on the Create button in the top right-hand corner.
Fill in the creation form:
- If your project is already set in the search bar, it is automatically displayed. Otherwise, select the project to which the proposal is associated.
- If your project has more than one component, select the one that applies.
- Enter the proposal reference.
- If the supplier is already listed in the Aidi supplier’s list, select it from the list.
- Indicate proposal status.
- Enter the proposal date.
- Click on Save and open.
- To import the proposal received, click on the small arrow next to the Create button above the list of budget items.
- Select the Import proposal from Excel option. Select your bid form in the file explorer.
Aidi will show you a confirmation window indicating the number of lines imported and their total amount, as well as an overview of missing lines, i.e. budget items for which no amount has been entered on the form.
Compare the Proposals
Once all your proposals have been imported, you can proceed to the comparison stage. Start by generating the Bid Comparison file from the Report Center.
Once you've selected your proposals, you'll see your budget item tree appear. The first amount column is that of the last approved budget, and the following columns are those of the proposals you have included in your comparison (one proposal per column). You can also go to the "analysis" sheet to see some statistics from your proposals. Please refer to the report documentation for details.
You will then be able to change the status of your proposals according to whether they have been retained or not or invalid. Don't forget to click on the check mark to confirm your selection.
