How Do I Create a Purchase Order From a Proposal?

Please note that the Proposal feature is only available to customers subscribing to the Advanced or Enterprise plans of the Aidi platform.

When a proposal is retained in Aidi, it is possible to create a purchase order from this proposal.

Prerequisites:

The proposal must:

• be associated with the same project and component as the purchase order
• be in Retained status
• not already be associated with a purchase order

Access the Purchase Orders page from the Execution menu.

1. Create a purchase order by clicking on the Create button. 
2. Select the project and component if your project has more than one component.
3. Proceed to the next step.
4. Select the supplier.
5. Aidi will automatically propose a list of available proposals for this supplier (meeting the above criteria). Select the desired proposal.
6. Continue creating the purchase order.

You will notice that the Component section of the purchase order is automatically filled in with the information from the selected proposal.
