Batch Export Logbook Attachments

This logbook feature lets you download all the attachments found in all notes displayed on the screen with a single click. This simplifies downloading for archiving purposes.

To use this feature, simply click on the download button in the top right-hand corner of your Logbook page.

✏️Note: This feature is most effective when used in conjunction with the various Logbook filters, as it reduces the number of notes displayed on the screen that you will be downloading attachments from.

The compressed file

By clicking on the download button, a compressed ZIP file is downloaded. This file contains all the attachments (including photos, PDF documents, etc.) found inside the logbook notes and inside the logbook note comments.

Several important points must be considered when using this feature.

• Exported files have a unique name to maintain their authenticity in the Aidi database.
• The original names can be recovered using the csv correspondence file included in the compressed file.

The columns in the csv file provide the following information:

• The name of the downloaded file (Downloaded filename)
• The name of the file in the Aidi database (File name)
• The name of the original file (Custom File Name)
• Unique project number in Aidi (Project ID)
• Unique log note number in Aidi (Note ID)
• The date and time recorded when the log note was published (Display Date)
• The date and time when the file was added (Added Date)
• The author who uploaded the file (Created by)
• File type (Type)
• The comment number if the file was added as a comment (Note Comment ID)
