How can I create a project template?

Creating a project template is relatively straightforward once you've already added at least one project to your Aidi account. You can create a project template from an existing project, or create a project solely for the purpose of making it a template. 

Either way, the project to be used as a template must be created, ideally with a budget and approval chains configured for budget and purchase orders. Contacts who are approvers need to be added to the project. You can also configure a schedule for the template project.

To set a project as a template:

1. Go to the Initialize menu, then click on the Projects tab.
2. Select the project you wish to use as a template.

3. Access the Details page of this project.

4. This details page is divided into several panels. In the Description panel is the Set this project as a template field. Click in the checkbox following this field. 
5. A confirmation message appears in the top right-hand corner of the details page, confirming that this project has been defined as a template.

This project can now be used as a basis for creating new projects!
