When you've completed a project, you want to make sure that no further operations are carried out on it, and you also probably no longer wish to see it in your tracking and reporting.
Aidi lets you manage your completed projects in a few ways, depending on the situation or your needs.
Is your project finished, but you still have invoices, receipts, etc. to process?
Change project status to Completed by going to the project Details page and change the project status to Completed.
The status Completed allows you to continue operations on the project while knowing that it is finished. This status is also useful for filters, either in the project list, in reports or in analytics view. When filtering on projects with Open and/or In preparation status, projects with Completed status will not be included, so you will no longer see the project in your filters and reports.
Is your project finished and no more information needs to be added?
Change the project status to Archived by going to the project Details page and changing the project status to Archived.
A project with Archived status becomes “Read-only” for all users who have access to it. However, a user with the Administrator role can change the status back if needed.
As with Completed status, it may be useful to adjust filters in the project list, in reports or in analytics, to disregard projects with Archived status.
✏️Note: An archived project marked as a template will always be available in the template list.
Project Phase
If you're using project classification by phase, you can move completed projects into the Closure phase.
Either by using the Board view of the project list:
Either by selecting the Phase in the project Details page:
Archiving Service
If you wish to streamline your project list in Aidi further by downloading completed projects from the system, we also offer an archiving service.
This service extracts all project data from Aidi on projects you wish to archive. This data is then transmitted to you in a compressed format, and can then be removed from Aidi.
Don't hesitate to contact Aidi support (support@aidi.io) to archive your projects in this way.
