Financing Allowed

This article is intended for customers subscribing to the Advanced or Enterprise plans of the Aidi platform.

Financing allowed in Aidi refers to available budget envelopes or global financing that can be used to finance several projects, if required. 

Since Aidi is first and foremost a project management solution, designed for project managers, your financing allowed is usually managed by your internal accounting system. They are added into Aidi to link specific project financing for each of your projects.

Access the Financing Allowed page from the Initialize menu.

Create Financing Allowed

1. Click on the Create button.
2. Financing allowed is defined on an annual basis, and the fiscal year must be entered.
3. The Financing types available in the drop-down list are defined by your administrator in the Admin menu.
4. Enter the reference according to your internal labelling.
5. Enter the financing amount without tax.
6. Amounts with tax will be calculated automatically according to the tax groups configured in your environment. It is also possible to enter the amount including tax directly, and the amount without tax will also be calculated accordingly.
7. If you check the Reserved for this year only box, the financing amount can only be used for the fiscal year indicated. Unchecking the box will allow you to use the financing for any other fiscal year.
8. Save the financing.

9. By clicking on Save and Open, you will be redirected to the details page, where you can modify the financing information in the Description section.
10. If custom fields have been configured, you may also enter the additional information. These can be checkboxes, drop-down lists, dates or text fields.
11. If your access profile allows it, you can delete the financing allowed.

⚠️Attention: If one or more project financing are attached to this financing allowed, it will not be possible to delete it. One must first delete all the linked project financing before deleting this financing allowed.

View Financing Allowed

The financing allowed list allows you to view certain information that is not available on the financing details page.

1. You can have the amounts displayed with taxes if you wish, according to the tax groups configured in your Aidi environment.
2. The available financing amount is also displayed, so you can see how much money is available for each financing allowed. This amount is the result of the total amount of financing allowed minus the sum of all project financing attached to it.
3. A search section lets you quickly find financing allowed by year, keyword, reference or amount.
